A couple of weeks ago, I won this darling little set of hair pins from Polka Dot Moon. They were a part of a week-long series of giveaways featured by Erin at The Vintage Pearl. Poopy Face (and a Winner!)

I'm always amazed at how frequently, when Camden makes any one of his random noises, someone says, "oh! he's pooping. I know that sound."

I'm never amazed to see that they're wrong, and that Camden was not pooping. You see--he's never been on of those babies who 'assumes the position' and grunts and groans. I like it this way.

But! All good things must come to an end, right?

Sitting in his high chair snacking on Cheerio's today, I heard a grunt and a groan and turned to look at my little guy. I was immediately alarmed by his face. Red, contorted... was he choking? Had a Cheerio lodged itself in his tiny little airway?

...and like that, it was over. His face turned back to its usual color and he grinned ear to ear.

Apparently he does have a pooping face. Awesome.

The coolest thing happened today... and it's only 5:30! AM!

Ryan left for work and I couldn't sleep... so I plopped down in front of the computer with a bowl of Cinnamon Life (dutifully purchased with coupons, of course!) hoping to induce a second round of sleepiness.

Anyway... the cool thing... I was reading a couple of my favorite blogs and discovered that I WON! Me! I wont a giveaway! Yiipppeee!!

This is what I had originally planned to post this morning--however, not so early! We left the chicken in the crock pot and dashed out with the camera yesterday around five when we realized there was a bunch of fog rolling in. Hubbs was in charge of stopping road-side, I was in charge of hopping (remember, 'hopping' is a hypothetical term at this late point in pregnancy...) out for a quick photo or two.
