Pemaquid Point
While the trip to Maine was mostly about visiting friends, we took some time to sight-see as well. The lighthouse at Pemaquid Point was probably my favorite.
It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day. The weather really couldn't have been better--and doesn't the weather just make an experience?
I especially loved the details--the character--of the lighthouse and its surroundings. Oh, what I would have given to get that place all to myself. I could have taken pictures for hours.
Ok--maybe not entirely to myself. I'd keep these girls around. More on them later.

Gotta give some credit, though: the first picture on this post was taken by the lovely EVE. (second from the left in the group photo) She had my camera while I climbed to the top of the lighthouse.
