I'm done!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I've learned something about myself in the last 48 hours.

I am, without a doubt, not a fan of tying quilts. Not sure what it was... perhaps the fact that I stabbed myself with the needle? In.my.lip. (don't ask. I don't know.) ...or perhaps the fact that I BROKE a needle?

Anyway. It's done.

Please excuse this second photo. I've had visions of hanging the quilt out on an old clothesline, wheat field in the background, soft breeze blowing... but that's just not happening. The kitchen floor will have to do.

I love it! Isn't tying such a pain?!?! I don't tie mine anymore...I just use the same flannel on the reverse side and they seem to "stick" together.

Adorable! I have to ask myself are you really the overachieving super mom I think you are or is Camden a super napper? Seriously! Good job!

Laura--good call on the flannel. You're right, they do 'stick' together. I do tag blankets that way. This one has a layer of batting, so I'm not sure that would have worked?

Beka--you're so funny! Definitely not super mom, perhaps a touch of an overachiever (self-created), and no, Camden isn't a super napper. Since we're all in one room here, I can't really get much done when he IS napping though, so I have to do quiet activities. Like cutting fabric! The sewing, I did while family/Ryan was here to entertain him, and with Ryan working those weird night shifts and what-not last week, I had a couple of long evening stretches to myself. It sure came together quickly with those chunks of time, didn't it?? Yippee!

Regardless of how you got it done, it turned out adorable! Lots of creativity swirling around in that noggin of yours! Can't wait to see what you do next!

Looks gorgeous and so cuddly. Nothing like a good quilt, certainly one of the best things in life :)
