Photo Editing & My Favorite Test Subject

As of this afternoon, Camden is consistently rolling from back to tummy and from tummy to back. He's yet to learn that rolling more than once will get him anywhere... but I'll bet he doesn't take long to figure it out!! He has also *really* found his feet--and boy, are they ever fun to play with! It's all I can do to get a clean diaper on the kid right now!!

Anyway, here's a picture I took today:

This is the straight-out-of-camera shot. The flash was on and there's a bit too much of a cluttery background for my taste...

So I cropped it and did a quick "auto fix" to change the colors around a little. Getting better, right??

But it still felt... I don't know... washed out, maybe? So I lowered the 'exposure' a bit... much better, right??

...and because I have no self control, I went a bit overboard. Here's that "cross process" effect I'm so hooked on lately. I don't know why it's so fun for me!

He's such a happy little guy! :)

I think cross processing is fun too! It helps having a professional photographer and someone who knows Photoshop in the family!

That effect makes it look like an old photo out of one of my grandma's photo albums. It's kind of timeless. :)

I am a total Photoshop ADDICT. I can (and do) spend hours and hours just messing around. AND there are so many cool free tools out there on the web. I am drooling just writing this!
