Focus Friday

Focus Friday

...is it really Friday already??

I'm pleased to report that this week went really well! I've always been a list-maker, and my habits are always confirmed when I come out successfully on the other end. There's something oh-so-pleasing about drawing a heavy line through each task on my list.

I'm sure you all saw that we purchased the cloth diapers. I wish, however, that I had been more impressed with them. I'm still using them, obviously not all the time because there are only three, but I'm not 100% convinced that this is the right thing for us. Never mind, though, because I'm trying! ...also, Camden's sleep training is still going well. I'm so thrilled with the results.

I'm a results person, can'tcha tell??

I wasn't AS active as I had hoped to be this week, but with the rain we've seen, I'm happy with my efforts. Friday, when we went diaper shopping, we also took a long stroll around the water front downtown. It felt great to get out and soak up the sun. while it lasted.

So this week...

1. Write a meal plan to cover Tuesday through Saturday. (Ryan's work days...)
2. Shop for my meal plan by Tuesday morning.
3. Execute the meal plan, so nothing goes to waste. Wasted food makes me crabby.

As always, visit Thrifty & Chic Mom to play along.

...and whaddya think, should I blog the meal plan??

Was the sun wonderful? I took a walk in it today. Man it felt great. I can't wait for more of it! Good job with your week. I'd love to see your meal planning. My mom has always been so good about it. I kinda half-ass it. I plan for about 7 days of "meals" and it takes me 2-3 weeks to get through it all. I always chicken out and do frozen pizzas or tuna casserole on lazy nights.

mmm... tuna casserole.

How did I marry a guy who won't eat tuna? sigh. double sigh.

(Love you, babe!! Even if you won't eat tuna. Because it's not like I eat beef. Well, sort of.)

Does the hubby ever work on weekends? If so, you sooo need to come over for lunch sometime and we'll do tuna casserole without him! :)
