Elephants, oh my!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

So I discovered a project this morning that I wanted to make for the baby... called a ribbon blanket, or a 'taggy' blanket.

I'm still getting started... fabric is just out of the wash and I've been cutting the ribbons to go around the edges, but I'm so excited and I just had to share the materials we chose! I love them!!

Oh... and apparently Tyson approves of my selection! :o)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fabric you chose!!! Where did you get that? Addie has two taggie blankets and she loves them. Even as a newborn she would hold on to the ribbons with her hand. It was so cute. I can't wait until your little man gets here :-)

Really cute fabric! I've made some taggies for shower gifts and they have been big hits. The Moms have told me the babies love them! The only suggestion they have had is they need two - so they can wash one and have another one ready to go!

Fern--so fun to see you popping by! Your instructions were a big help to me...

Maggie--hi! you should make a blanket for your little precious... she's not too old!!

Laura--did you post your project yet? I need to go look... can't wait!

Jen--thanks! I got the fabric at Joanne's... BIG sale this week!! I totally suggest you take a trip to check it out. (Do you even have Joanne's there?)

Lynn--I've got another blankie already in mind... just need to go and find some more adorable fabric!

I'll post a photo tomorrow, ladies... need some good daylight! I hate using my flash...
