Autumn and some Quiet Time...

Yesterday wasn't my best day ever. I was greatly in need of some quiet time away from the house to sort out all of my thoughts on various subjects. No worries--all is well, I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed.

Anyway, smartie-pants me remembered the camera and I'm so glad I did!! The leaves are turning all around us. The air was crisp and cool... autumn is definitely here!!

Local bloggie fans... do you know where I took this picture?

Looks like Tumwater falls maybe? Great pic either way. I've been wanting to break out my fancy pants camera and take come picture of the leaves too before they go away. Haven't made time yet, though. I should! Hope you had some nice time to yourself. :)

Awwww... geez! Where'd everyone go?

Shara, I'm glad YOU know where I took that picture! What kind of camera do you have, anyway?

That is the run off from the Olympia waste water treatment plant. Am I right?

Close, Brian!! It's actually the famous 'water' from the saying, "Oly, it's the water."

C'mon... you've had the beer, yes?

I have an Olympus E-410. It does the job! Course it's so complex goodness knows I don't know how to use all the bells and whistles. I've gotten some great pictures from it, though.
As for Oly, I can't figure out how they can get away with still making it since they don't brew it here anymore. It's just not right!!!

Oohh.. googling the E-410. I've never used an Olympus, but I've heard good things! I went with a Canon because it's what step-daddio uses and I can borrow his lenses this way! *wink*

I'm not very well-versed when it comes to the fancy features either... perhaps we should find a photog class to take together? Hmm.. worth a thought, anyway.

Oh that's an excellent idea! My dad liked mine so he went out and got the e-510 himself. I can borrow his stuff too! ;) Canon makes a fantastic camera, though. If that had been in a slightly lower price range I would have opted for that as well.
