The Garden of Weedon...

Two posts today?!?! I'm on a roll! :o)

Ok, so I'm finally getting around to starting a garden update! Here is our garden a couple of weeks ago, taken from a distance. Please ignore the delightful scenery, it's just our neighbors. *Groan and a sigh...*

Here's our zucchini plant shortly after we stuck it in the dirt... yea, we bought a start instead of using seeds. But I grew some other things from seed!

...and here is our zucchini plant now. Look at the cute little baby veggies already growing strong!

Cucumber, finally get some "real" leaves, as opposed to just the seedling leaves...

I'm jealous! I love the setup you guys have. Someone who previously lived in our home had a little section railroad tied off...about 6x5 that I dug up and planted. It is looking pretty good, but my seeds didn't go to town as well as I would have liked so it's slower going. Hopefully you'll end up with a successful crop! Goodness knows it would be helpful to have some fresh veggies you don't have to buy! Way to go on the coupon shopping. I've only recently started going it myself. It is a good feeling, isn't it?! Hope you're feeling wonderful!

Don't be jealous! Instead, learn how to get to my house out here in the toolies, and you can share my veggies!

I'm a bad friend--still haven't called you back. I, um, seem to have misplaced your new cell phone number. My bad!!!

funny to look back and see how small that butternut started at. Given it did take over the garden toward the end of the growing season... Uh oh watch out the hubby has found the blog......
