My time off is coming to an end...

Today is the last day of my week off... although I've still got the weekend, my days off are done.

It's been a long week, in some respects. Many trips have been made to the hospital, as my step-dad and my mom's best friend are both spending some time there. The trips to the hospital have been difficult for me... this was my first time there after leaving with empty arms in November. I found myself in a puddle of tears after coming home on the first night, but Ryan was quick to my rescue and quick to talk me down. I don't know what I'd do without him.

I can feel spring in the air, our veggie garden is in the works... and I can't wait for summer.

The countdown is on for June 12th, the last day of school...

Spring Break...

...it's marvelous!

I've been quite lazy today, I'll confess, but tomorrow I'll really get moving and get some things accomplished. I have errands to run and some chores to do around the house... and I want to go and visit Ryan at his new job, which he still really likes by the way! Go Ryan! :o)

Claiming my happiness...

That's it. I'm just claiming my happiness. A new friend of mine gave me that term, and I have to admit, I love it!

This week is going well... Ryan's first day at his new, improved job was yesterday. He had a great time, and I am so happy for him... and proud. He loves his new co-workers, he loves the new store, and the drive, which we were a little worried about, really wasn't too bad! Nice!

Spring break is just around the corner... as of Friday, I'll be a free woman for a whole week! A WEEK!

My plans include finishing the SDIBAN, including finding, purchasing and hanging curtains and some shelving for our little collection of stuffed animals, which totally belong in the SDIBAN. The furry critters are currently piled in two big baskets... they deserve a place of honor... on pretty, shiny new shelves! The other item I'm on the hunt for... those prism crystals you hang in the window to create rainbows with sunlight. That way, there will always be rainbows in the SDIBAN.

Yep, that's it. Just claiming my happiness.
