A belly dance of my own...

Twenty-four weeks today, can you believe it?? I can't.

At twenty-four weeks, a baby has a chance of living 'on the outside' should he come early... you have no idea what a relief that is to me. You also have no idea how NERVOUS that makes me. What if he DID come early? Would that 'chance' for survival apply to him?

On a happier, less worrisome note, baby is now consistently kicking hard enough to visibly SHAKE my belly... something Ryan takes great delight in watching, when he's not too tired, or rather, when I'm not waking him up to watch.

YAY! I remember feeling the same way. I was excited to get to viability but then was thinking how it was still too soon.

Pretty soon you will be posting..."40 weeks, this baby will not come out!"

I totally felt the same way. When I started having contractions at 22 weeks my heart broke with the thought of my little one dying just because my retarded body wasn't cooperating. Just wait until you hit 28 weeks...that's when I really started to feel more confident that my baby would really come and each week after that was even better! I'm so happy for you!
